A long time fan of Mark Hayes
I continue to play all the Mark Hayes songbooks I've collected for years. This is the first contemporary hymn book I have ordered and I'm so pleased with the arrangements. It is a joy to play through this book.

Mark Hayes at his best.
Mark Hayes has done it again. I love his style while retaining the integrity of the melody. These renditions of familiar praise music are within reach of the intermediate player and I have been able to work them up for offertory within a week or two. I will buy whatever Mr. Hayes will write for the intermediate player.

Great Arrangements
I purchased the book to play during my Church's Worship service. I consider myself an intermediate level pianist and this book is just the right level of difficulty for me. It is challenging but not unreachable. I did not find any of the arrangements in the unsatisfactory. I highly recommend this set of arrangements.

I love the songs in this book. The arrangement of each song is done so well. I like that I can sit down and play right away. I highly recommend this book.

Disappointing....
I have nearly all of Mark Hayes Christian books and was anxious to add this one to my collection but am returning it because the arrangements are not very challenging and are often monotonous, not at all like those in his other books. While I'm an Intermediate/Advanced to Advanced pianist, I do enjoy playing easier arrangements, too, IF they are interesting. Rhythmically easy to intermediate. Sorry, Mark, but I'll be replacing this one with another of yours. You are one of my favorite arrangers.

Great music !
The Amazing Grace (Chris Tomlin version) is beautiful. Also, 10,00 Reasons and Grace Alone are lovely ! Mark Hayes is one of my favorite arrangers.
